For many students, federal financial aid is the only resource available to cover the cost of a higher education. According to UTEP's financial aid website, over 60 percent of the university's students receive financial aid, either through grants, loans or work-study.

"I'm definitely going to attend, because it's a great opportunity to talk to the employers and see if there's anything I can do to better myself and make myself more competitive in the market," said Sofia Maragoudakis, senior biological sciences major.
With two state presidential primary elections, a state caucus already decided and with four surviving candidates facing their first primary without Texas Governor Rick Perry, the race for the Republican presidential nomination is well underway. After a caucus vote in Iowa and two primaries in New Hampshire and South Carolina, candidates Mitt Romney, Rick Santorum, Ron Paul and Newt Gingrich remain.
